Jesus Christ Superstar  - the beloved musical - got under the skin of musician E. J. Simpson at an early age! For nearly 2 decades now,  E J. has been performing his heartfelt tribute to the original album in its entirety all over the country.  Completely solo or with special guest musicians, E.J might inject humorous bits, or spontaneous jams into the show or he may stick song for song to the record that has inspired him so much. 

This is the 10 anniversary of its being held at the incredibly historic south Philadelphia treasure - Gloria Dei (Old Swedes church), whose cornerstone was laid in 1699!
